Emergency services were called to the scene just after 9 a.m. Paramedics assessed the five individuals onboard, with only two suffering minor seatbelt-related injuries. Remarkably, none required hospitalization.

Footage captured shortly after the crash shows a man balancing on the plane’s floating debris. Queensland Ambulance commended the quick response of nearby vessels, including a tour boat that assisted in the rescue efforts.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash to ensure safety in future flights.
